Hello dear Host Family,
My name is Anally Traya. I am 27 years old and from the Philippines, specifically the province of Bukidnon in Mindanao. I grew up in a simple environment surrounded by nature and strong family values, which shaped me into a responsible, respectful, and hardworking person.
I come from a family of five siblings. My parents raised us with strong values especially honesty, respect, and kindness, particularly toward elders. Life was not always easy, but it taught me patience, perseverance, and gratitude. From a young age, I learned the importance of helping one another and working hard for the people we love.
During high school, I was enrolled in a Technical-Vocational track and earned my NC II certification. I truly love cooking, and it is one of my greatest passions. I joined several cooking competitions and proudly won some of them. Cooking makes me happy because I believe food prepared with love brings families together. I would be very excited to cook meals for my host family and share food made with a good heart.
I was also a working student while finishing high school because I was determined to complete my education. Later, I graduated with a degree in Financial Management from a state college. After graduating, I worked in the government as an Internal Auditor, where I learned discipline, honesty, responsibility, and attention to detail. This job strengthened my sense of integrity and trustworthiness.
As a person, I would describe myself as patient, responsible, cheerful, and hardworking. I have a lot of patience, especially with children, and I remain calm in different situations. I am flexible, respectful, and willing to learn. I believe good communication and mutual respect are very important in a family.
I am also a Catholic and serve in my church as an altar server. My faith plays an important role in my life and teaches me compassion, humility, and service to others. These values guide how I treat people, especially children and families entrusted to my care.
I want to become an au pair because I want to experience life abroad, learn about a new culture, and grow personally while working. I am excited about cultural exchange and becoming part of a host family—not only as a helper, but as someone who shares daily life and meaningful moments.
Another important reason is my family. I want to give my parents the life they deserve and support my siblings as they build their own families. Working abroad is my way of helping lift my family from our current situation, and I am fully committed to working with dedication and honesty.
To my future host family, I promise that I am responsible, trustworthy, respectful, and kind-hearted. I will take good care of your children with patience and love, respect your house rules, and happily help in your home. I will always be grateful for the opportunity to be part of your family.
