Dear Wonderful Host Family!
My name is Alexandra, and I’m from the Philippines. I’m 28 years old, currently living in Manila, and an Early Childhood Educator. I have over five years of experience caring for and teaching children of various ages and nationalities. I’m a caring, responsible, and passionate teacher who loves creating a joyful, safe, and nurturing environment where kids can explore, learn, and express themselves freely. I’m looking for a warm, respectful host family, and I’m available to start ideally by December 2025.

Throughout my studies, I cared for my younger cousins and recently for my nephew (ages 2–10)—helping with school routines, preparing snacks, reading stories, playing, and supporting bedtime. I also worked as an afterschool tutor, assisting with reading, homework, and creative projects, while helping with light household work such as cleaning, organizing, and preparing simple meals. These experiences strengthened my love for caring for children and supporting their holistic growth—mentally, emotionally, and socially.

After earning my degree, I taught as a Kindergarten and Elementary Teacher from Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, both online and face-to-face. I loved guiding kids through arts and crafts, music, reading, language literacy and fun science experiments, making every lesson engaging and meaningful.

I'm currenly working as a freelance online teacher, helping children learn language literacy with creativity, curiosity, and confidence. I love spending time with kids—whether it’s crafting, singing, helping with homework, or simply listening to their stories. I also enjoy cooking and would be delighted to share Filipino dishes with your family.

I’m joining the Au Pair Cultural Exchange Program because it allows me to grow, learn from new cultures, and share care and joy with your family, while sharing a meaningful cultural exchange experience. As an experienced Early Childhood Educator, I would love to expand my experience abroad, bringing love, creativity, and positivity into your children’s daily lives. My goal is to inspire curiosity, encourage exploration, and support holistic growth, helping children discover, learn, and enjoy every moment while creating beautiful memories together with the family.
