Dear Family,
My name is Cheenee. I am 24 years old from Philippines. Single and no child. I am a Bachelor of Science in Criminology graduate and now a Licensed Criminologist. I grew up and currently living in Dakit, San Francisco, Southern Leyte, Philippines. I am the 2nd child of 4 siblings. I have 1 older sister and 2 younger brothers.
As of now who is an unemployed person, I choose to live with my parents. I do the household chores and looking after of our 7 dogs every weekdays because my parents and older sister is at work and my younger brothers are still studying. My first language is Bisaya since I came from visaya province and my second language are tagalog and English. Growing up with my parents, we used to watch international tv shows because my father wants us to adopt the English language for future purposes. At the same time, we learned English in our school for we have English subject from grade school up to college. I believe that I am fluent in English because in my college days, we usually speak English in our reporting’s and my major subjects are all English specially in Law. If I have given an opportunity to learn other language, I will gracefully grab it and take an effort for it.
When it comes to child care experience. I have to say that I am well experienced, since I had my younger brothers. My parents are usually at work to sustain for our family living. Instead, it is my sister and I who took the responsibilities to our younger brothers to less the burden financially. From mixing the milk formula to changing diapers and even the times when my brothers were sick. I learned it by asking how and what should I do from my parents and relatives, until I became independent on it. As my brothers grew up, specially to our youngest. I also teach him in his assignments, how to read and write. And when he is in Junior Highschool during covid year or we say they have modules, I still teach him but not just him, also my niece Kendra Avery 9 years old, daughter of my cousin. And I believe that I did a great job because she can understand based on my explanations. I am also the child ministry teacher for 2 months in our church and proudly say that I teach them memorize the 66 books of bible, storytelling and action songs. Seeing them learning from me are overwhelming and it gave me confidence that I can use my teaching skills to Au Pair.
I like traveling and meeting new friends in a new places. I like to hear music from other cultures and dance because I was a dancer back then in my student days (Dance sports, Hip-hop, modern dance and cultural dance in the Philippines. I also love to play drum set, guitar, and keyboard. I do also love adventures like hiking, Riding Motorcycles, swimming, catching fishes in the ocean and jogging. I am a pet lover specially dogs. I am a responsible person, disciplined and reliable. I followed rules and regulations, and I believe that it is very important in Au Pair. As far as my preference, I am looking for a live-in arrangement with a host family that would be happy to have me stay with and work for them.
Since Highschool, I always dream to come in Europe because I followed many artist and people from Europe and as I watch them living there and sharing some good places and cultures, it makes me want to go and experience the beauty of Europe. And I believe that through Au Pair it will all be realized and I hope that I will be given a chance as your Au Pair.
