Hello future host family!

My name is Daryl John Dispo, and I want to be your au pair! I’ve known for many years that I wanted to go to another country and be an au pair. One of the reasons is that Philippines has only two season, wet and dry season. And I’ve always been fascinated to countries like yours and want to experience the snow first hand. Apart from that, I really love working with children.

A lot of my family members worked in other countries. My mother is working in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for 12 years and my older brother is in Japan. And my sister will soon follow his husband in Dubai. Now, I think it’s time for me to go on my own and experience new adventure. And what could possibly be better than combining taking care of children and living abroad for one whole year?

I come from a broken and average family of seven. Me, my older sister, my older brother, my mom, and my beautiful grandmother who nurtured us into this kind person we are today. And of course, our dog Poby. In my family we love to travel in different places in the Philippines, specifically beaches and trying to get new experiences from that place. I guess I’ve got that from them, since I am exactly the same. We all love animals- actually we have two pigs in our backyard. We also love food and cooking – one fact about me is that I cooked the whole dishes last Christmas. Lastly our family loves to travel. We are all very close, even if my two siblings have moved out, we still value family time whenever we get chance.

When I come and join you and your family, I want to come, not only as your employee, but also as your new family member. I believe that family is one of the most important things in our lives, so how great wouldn’t be to have two families? One in Philippines, and one in another country.

I would be a good au pair because I am very committed and humble person. I always try to do my best for everyone, and I always give as much love and support as I possibly can. I think your children would like me because I am creative, outgoing, fun, and caring. I think you would like me because I am flexible, patient, reliable and a warm person who always wants everyone to feel happy and satisfied. And of course you would like me because I can cook delicious food.

A year in another country would be fantastic for me. To gather experiences, to make new amazing memories, to get a new family, spend time with the kids and the chance to discover a new country and a dream country of mine. I feel ready and excited, and I hope you do too.

I want to learn about your culture and teach you some of mine. I would love to cook for you or show you how we celebrate our holidays. If you chose me to be your au pair, I would always make sure that you and your children feel safe whenever I am around and I promise I will do everything in my power to not let you down.
