Dear Host Family,
My name is Ritchelle, I am 27 years old, and I am writing to you because I am eager to become an Au Pair for your family. I grew up with with only one sibling and I am the youngest in the family, but that doesn't mean that I didn't have any experience with kids because I do. Growing up, I have a lot of younger cousins in our household. I was often responsible for them because we grow up close together. I have developed a deep love for working with children and a high level of responsibility that I would love to bring to your home.
When I heard about the AuPair Program, I have always been passionate about the cultural exchange and language learning. I believe that living with a family is the best way to truly understand a new culture. My goal is not just to travel but also to get out of my comfort zone and to experience a new environment. Also to become a meaningful part of a household where I can share my own traditions while helping your children grow in a safe and fun environment.
I have graduated a Bachelor's Degree in Education. During my practice teaching, we handled students from ages 9-11 for a free summer community class. It is a volunteer duty that our school required for us. I also have an experience babysitting for a part time job. This taught me how to manage different personalities, keeps them entertain, and engaged them with activities. I'm also comfortable with cooking meals for them, helping them with homework, or a light household chores.
I consider myself to be a patient, energetic, and organized person. I don't have any allergy to foods, or any serious diseases. I don't smoke and drink. I also know how to ride a bike. I am also aware of my surroundings. I understand that being an Au Pair is a big responsibility, and I take the safety and well-being of your child seriously. In my free time I enjoy listening to music, going to the beach, walking around the park, I also love to go hiking and enjoying a beautiful view. I would love to share these interests with your children if they are interested.
My availability is any time. I am very excited about the possibility of joining your family and looking forward to hearing from you so we can get to know each other better.
