Introduction
Good day Future Host Fam!
I am Andrea, I am 24 years old I study Office Administration and I lived in a province of the Philippines called Cavite. We are 8 in the family, my parents and my 5 siblings, I have 2 older sisters,1 older brother and 2 younger brothers. My father used to work in Austria as a Chef together with my 1 older Sister her name is Divina. currently, my father is here in the Philippines, because he is done with his contract there. My Mother is a housewife which is very extrovert she is opposite of my Father. My older sister Divina is currently living in Austria with her husband Gregor, my other sister named Roan and other older brother Andres is working here in the Philippines. And my 2 younger brothers are still finishing their degree. I have a good relationship with my family, its noisy if we are all together. Haha we liked to play board games or card games whenever we have time or sometimes, we do movie marathon or some outdoor activities like volleyball or badminton especially in holidays. We have 4 dogs at our house, we usually play with them. They are really adorable and jolly.
When I was a teen, I took care of my 2 cousins because their parents are both working. Every morning, I go to my Auntie’s house to play and take care of my 2 cousins because my auntie and her husband are preparing for work. In lunch time I bring my cousins to our house to feed them and to help my mother doing house chores. We will play at our house together with my 2 younger brothers until their parents came at night. And now as writing this, my cousins are here at our house they’re 12 and 14 now. We borrow them since they’re having school vacation.
Few years ago, When I finished my degree, my sister Divina and her husband Gregor (they lived in Austria) gifted me a vacation to Austria. I stayed there for 2 months, and I really enjoyed and have a lot of fun. I have learned a lot of culture, met a lot of people. We visit a lot of museums in while we were in Austria. We often visit her in-laws which lived near their house. We usually play card games for fun after dinner. I really enjoyed bonding with them. We also go to Italy though we didn't have enough money to travel different country. And there I realized that I want to live in Europe too. I want to explore more about Europe and experience more about different cultures, food, language etc.
And I am seriously amazed by this program because it gives those people an opportunity to learn and experience different culture and language plus, they can have allowance and me too I want to experience this program aside from getting cultural exchange, they will take care of kids which I love doing, I love kids, I love playing and talking to children, I love how it challenge me answering their curious and innocent questions. And I am so curious about the other cultures that's why I believed that this program is for me because I want to experience different culture and languages. I want to witness the beauty of earth, I am hoping I can experience traveling, meet new family and explore Europe again. So, here I am hoping to find my future host fam.
