I have an experience similar to being an au pair but I wasn't really paid. I was paid to to live free in their home for a year my last year of my university. I help my aunt with her two kids 1 female 10 year old and a 1 boy 6 year old. It was very fun because they are my cousins. It's easy cause they see me as a playmate and elder sister they listen to me very well. We did all the fun things together like playing with their toys walking in the neighborhood etc. My task usually for them is to cook, play and watch them because one parent stays home she usually cleans.
