To my dearest future host family,

I am a 26-year-old Filipina from the Philippines who's interested to be an Au Pair for great families like you abroad. While this is my first time to apply to be an au pair, I could say that I do have ample experience in when it comes to child care. I am currently a freelancer and working as a part-time barista while raising my 11-year-old brother whom I have been taking care of since he was born, I have been his mother figure since our own mother died 3 years ago. Aside from being fond with kids, I am the type of person who's always open and willing to learn new things from other nationalities and different cultures, so I got really interested when I heard about this program.

Cooking is one of my passions so I'm really looking forward to learn about different cuisines in your country. If given the chance, I would like to learn about your language during my stay and I could also teach you mine. I speak English, Filipino/Tagalog and Bisaya (another local language in the Philippines). Spanish,French and German languages interest me but learning another language aside from those would also be fun. I like to surround myself with nature so if you're into hiking, camping or traveling, be assured that you wouldn't have any problems bringing me along with you.
