Hi! My name is Charry, and I’m really excited to have the chance to introduce myself. I’m 24 years old from the Philippines. I recently graduated with a degree in Psychology last June 2024, which helped me understand how important it is to create a caring and supportive environment, something I genuinely love doing.
Right after graduation, I’ve been working as a student counselor and mentor at Southwestern University PHINMA. It’s been such a rewarding experience helping young people navigate school and life. I love seeing them grow and gain confidence, and I truly believe that a little encouragement and patience can make a big difference. It’s made me appreciate the small acts of kindness that help build trust and happiness every day.
Growing up as the oldest sibling among four kids, I’ve naturally taken on a caring role from a young age. Whether it’s helping my younger brothers and sister with homework, comforting them when they’re upset, or just sharing a laugh, being part of their lives has taught me patience, responsibility, and how important it is to be present. These experiences have made me really eager to share that kind of care and support with children in a new environment.
I really enjoy spending time with kids — playing, learning, and creating happy moments together. I believe those early years are so important for developing confidence, learning about the world, and shaping who they’ll become. As an au pair, I understand how vital it is to be gentle, encouraging, and supportive. I want to help children grow into kind, confident, and responsible people, and I think patience and positive reinforcement go a long way.
Aside from caring for kids, I also enjoy helping out around the house. Growing up, my family always helped each other, and I’ve picked up the habit of helping with chores whenever I can. I find that helping out makes things easier, and I personally find cleaning relaxing — it helps me clear my mind and de-stress. I’d love to contribute to a happy, cozy home for your family.
Living abroad and becoming part of your family feels like a big step, but I see it as such a wonderful chance to learn about new cultures, traditions, and ways of life. I’m curious and excited to embrace your customs and language.
