Good day! I’m looking for a host family.

My name is Mariness, but you can call me by my nickname “Mimi”, and I’m 26 years old from the Philippines. I’m the youngest of the family. I’m also an aunt of 2 kids, The daughter and son’s of my 2 older sisters. My dad works in the cargo while my mom is a housewife.
I graduated recently in Tourism and Travel Management. As a tourism student, I’m also good with people. I have pleasant personality and I’m also an easy going person. I would also describe myself as a reliable and caring person, who tries to make the best out of every situation. I like spending time with my friends; they are – as well as my family – very important to me. Always trying to help, I’m always there for them if they need me.
Since my nephew was born, I was already at his side until he turns 3 years old. Sometimes I was the one who help my sister to take care of her son. We always play each other and sometimes I also teach him some vocabulary words. And I’m pretty sure I’m her favorite Aunt after all. On the other hand, I also have a niece, I haven’t been with her always because they live on different house but whenever she came to our house, I will also played with her and she’s not that kind of a child that is really friendly because she was kind of a bit shy and she’s not used to hang out a lot of people, but I kind of manage that, because I also make her laugh, and every time she visits she always want to talk and play with me. I guess I’m really good with children.
I would love to become your next Au Pair because I love children and enjoy spending time with them. I am prepared and I am well aware of the fact that being like a big sister for your children comes along with responsibilities for them and it will not always be just play and fun. My calm and patient personality will help me to master more difficult situations for instance when the kids are tired or don’t want to listen to me.
I expect that in the first couple of days I will be exhausted at night because I guess taking care of children the whole time can be tiring. But I am sure that I will adapt to the new tasks and daily routine quickly and become a big help for you.
Living with me is really easy as I am not a demanding person. I do respect that the house is your house and that I have follow your house rules. If something works not quite as it should, I prefer to talk instead of ignoring things.
I hope we can develop a good relationship, working and living together as a family. I would be very happy to experience an eventful year with you and your kids.
