Dear Future Host Family,
My name is Rafhee, and I’m happy to introduce myself to you as a au pair for your family. I am 22 years old and currently living in the Philippines. I am excited about the possibility of joining your household and becoming a supportive and nurturing au pair to your children’s lives. Ensuring their safety and happiness is my purpose.
Growing up I developed a deep love for arts and craft because when I was a kid I always make a dress out of a shirt or fabric my grandma’s gonna throw away. I like to dance, cook, bake, learn about new fashion style, outdoors activities, walk, reading and this activities remain parts of my life today. In my free time I like to play video games with my cousins, make or bake some food with them, watch movies with them and learn my mom’s recipes because my mom is a great cook. I would be happy to share these passions with your family and introduce your children to creative ideas.
When it comes to childcare, I have knowledge about taking care of kids because I started helping my mom take care of my new born cousin when I was 9 years old, at the young age I assist them throughout the whole journey of how to change diapers, change clothes, feed my cousin, clean, cook, clean the bottles and make milks for them. So at the young age I have learned basic skills about childcare. We have sari sari store so my mom trust me to go to the grocery store to buy groceries so we can sell them. I think at the young age I’m pretty mature enough. My 3 cousins still live with us and I still help take care of them, look after them and help their mindset grow properly. I love them like my little brothers. I also have experienced working in a homecare which we take care of elderly people and I also had experience working in the hospital as a nursing assistant.
I’m interested to join the au pair program because I believe that experiencing new cultures and being exposed to a new environment can help me grow as a person, it will also help me be more independent by engaging in new environments. This opportunity would allow
