Dear Host Family,
My name is Dorie Jean, I am 23 years old, and I come from the Philippines. I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management, and I am excited to begin a new chapter in my life by becoming an au pair. I have always been passionate about learning new cultures, meeting new people, and experiencing life beyond my home country. Becoming an au pair is a meaningful way for me to do this while contributing positively to a family.

One of my greatest joys has always been being around children. Growing up in a big family with many baby cousins has given me valuable hands-on experience—I am often the one who feeds them, plays with them, gives them baths, and keeps them happy and comfortable. These moments taught me patience, responsibility, and how to create a warm and safe environment for kids. I truly enjoy connecting with children, understanding their needs, and helping them grow in a loving atmosphere.

Aside from childcare, I am also a dog lover. I own a Shih Tzu named Xam, so I am familiar with caring for pets, giving them attention, and keeping them well-groomed and loved. If your family has pets, I would be more than happy to help with them as well.

I want to become an au pair not only to support a family, but also to grow personally. I hope to improve my independence, learn your language and culture, and build meaningful memories with the people I will be living with. I would be honored to share my own culture and traditions with your family too. My goal is to become not just a helper in your home, but a reliable and caring presence that your children can feel comfortable and happy with.
