Dear family,
I am Leslie Niña Mirambel from Cebu, Philippines. I'm 28 years old, single, and currently living with my family in the province. I want to become an au pair for 12 months and I am looking for a suitable host family in Norway, Denmark, United States, UK, and Sweden. The reason why I want to become an au pair because I want to have a different life outside from my country and want to experience the country's culture, explore new places during day off, meeting new people, bonding time with my host family, making new friends, learning the language, making good memories and helping myself to become a better person.
I am kind, go-getter, honest, responsible, and trustworthy person. I used to be an English tutor to my siblings when they're young and taking care of them when my mom was so busy, but now they're fully grown-up. Also, I love taking care of pets. I have three cats at home and I got their names from the Hong Kong actor Jackie Chan. My black cat named Jack, the tabby cat is Ki, and the mixed black and white cat is Chan. I am easy to get along well with people. Since pandemic, I stayed at home and doing household chores, and doing errands. At home, I am assisting my mom in heavy jobs, cook for our food, clean the house, doing laundry, feeding the pets (cats, and chickens). During leisure time, I take a nap, listening to music, playing with my cats, watching my favorite films, and communicating with my friends. Sometimes, I went to town for groceries, and paying bills.
If I get this opportunity as an au pair, I'll do my best as much as I can and I give my whole service to help my host family and treat them like my own family. I would like to spend more than 12 months if necessary depending the needs of my host family. I am grateful to be part of this journey as an au pair and I cherish the good memories I had with my host family.
