Hallo Host Parents,

I am glad you found my profile, nice to meet you my future host family.

Goedemorgen. Ik heet Charlhyn. 18 jaar. I am fast learner, adaptable, respectful and diligent. My pastimes are reading classic books, cooking typical meals, stew, soups, pasta, ice cream and desserts and baking chocolate moist cake, vanilla chiffon cake, chocolate cupcake, petit four, swiss rolls, buns, loaf bread and chocolate chip cookies. I also like swimming in the sea and biking around the town.

About my academic background, I have diploma in senior high school in home economics strand. I studied a taster course about the language Dutch. In addition to that, I studied how to raise a successful child, it discussed about different developmental stages in child’s life and how to respond to child’s needs.
After I graduated from school, I step on my next journey as a full time nanny and house helper. I know this is my calling because I am fond of kids and it makes me smile whenever I help other people.

Here is the list of my responsibilities:

1. General cleaning of all the house rooms.
2. Washing and rinsing the dishes and organize it to the shelves.
3. Doing the laundry in the washing machine and drying the clothes in the dryer.
4. Ironing uniforms.
5. Cooking in the stove and using rice cooker to make rice.
6. Take charge in the supervision of Klyne, Kiana and Rhys.
7. Give assistance when they eat and bath.
8. Prepare them before school, going to school and going home from school.
9. Foster learning by doing activities that includes reading, writing and math skills.
10. Let them stay active by doing physical activities like play games, running, going to the beach and play with other children in the playground.
11. Feed and play with Sergio, the family dog.

I have read about the au pair cultural exchange
program and I want to embark on this journey. I hope you will open your family’s door to me and welcome me in your family. I promise that I will utilize my intelligence and abilities so I can work efficiently in your family.
