Dear Future Host Family,
I am writing this letter to express my interest in applying as an Au Pair in your wonderful family.
My name is Ivon and I am from the Philippines. I am the second of the five siblings. I have three sisters; one is in the United States by herself. Two of my siblings are in high school and one in kindergarten. I am a few months away from graduating college. I am an aspiring Culture and Arts Teacher. I love to teach but I also love to travel, explore, and experience different cultures and that's the major reason why I chose this Au Pair path.
I know a few people in my town who are there in the Netherlands as an Au Pair and I see that they are happy with what they are doing. They get to experience living with their host family with a different culture and I think it's cool! It's an experience that money can't buy. I don't have professional experience in childcare but I do know that I am so good with that. Not to brag but I am the most trusted sibling in the family to take care of everything in the house such as groceries, household chores, taking care of my siblings, taking care of our dogs, running errands, and other things. Also, I am a one-call-away cousin and uncle in the family. I love dancing and it's one of the things that I enjoy doing with kids. These things that I do to help my family in our everyday life, I can do it for you too if you give me the chance. You don't have to worry about me doing bad things because I guarantee you I will not. Your family is safe with me. I hope I can get a chance to share my culture with you all. I have never been to another country, and I hope you'll give me that chance. My ultimate goal is to make your family happy and safe.
