Dear Host Family

My name is Janelle Fae Lambino, and I am so excited about the possibility of becoming part of your family as your Au Pair. I’m 25 years old and from Ramos, Tarlac, Philippines.

I want to share a bit about myself and why I believe I would be a great fit for your children and home.

I have hands-on experience in healthcare, where I learned patience, responsibility, and how to stay calm under pressure. In that role, I took care of both children and elderly patients. This taught me how to be attentive to different needs — from helping with daily routines, preparing meals, and providing companionship, to ensuring safety and comfort at all times.

Family is very important to me. I help take care of my nephews, who are 5 and 9 years old. Being with them daily has given me real, joyful experience with kids in this age range. I help them with homework, play games, prepare snacks, read bedtime stories, and manage the usual sibling energy and squabbles! Through them, I’ve learned how to be both fun and firm, how to encourage creativity, and how to create a safe, loving environment where children feel heard.

Becoming an Au Pair is more than a job for me. I see it as a cultural exchange and a chance to become a big sister in your home. I would love to share my Filipino culture with your children — our food, traditions, and values of respect and family — while also learning about your culture and way of life.

I am responsible, caring, and adaptable. I understand that every family has its own routines and rules, and I am eager to follow your guidance to give your children the best care possible. I’m also happy to help with light housework related to the children, like tidying their rooms, doing their laundry, and preparing their meals.

In my free time I enjoy watching movies and doing exercises outdoor like jogging. I’m also someone who believes in growth through seasons — I know children have good days and tough days, and I’m committed to being patient and supportive through all of them.
