My name is Eric Nmesoma Nwankpa, and I am excited about the opportunity to become your au pair and support your family.
I come from Nigeria and have strong childcare experience from my own family. I am the eldest sibling, 8 years older than my next sibling, and I often cared for my younger siblings while my mother was at work. In addition, when I was 15, my aunt and her two children moved in with us, and I regularly helped take care of all the children in the household while the adults were working. These experiences taught me responsibility, patience, and how to care for children of different ages.
I also worked as a nursing assistant in a hospital, where I gained professional caregiving experience, responsibility, and the ability to stay calm in different situations.
I would describe myself as caring, reliable, and patient. I enjoy working with children and I am comfortable supporting with childcare, daily routines, and light household tasks. I am also currently learning German and working towards my A1 certificate.
