My name ist Funke the Short form of olufunke, I am an an April born who just turned 20 this year, I am an university student with many ambitions and I’m currently studying biochemistry, I am from a Nigerian tribe called Yoruba we are popular know for our diverse Foods and materials like asoebi, I live with my father and brother after the passing of my mother, I really enjoy taking care of children especially my little little cousin who is 1 year old I have been taking care of her since birth while my auntie works part time as maternity leave isn’t popular in my country, now my cousin is older I would like to help another family in need, I have never been outside my country and I feel being able to combine the both would be an unforgettable experience, I learn about this program through my best friend who has lived in Germany all her life I also see this as an opportunity to be a little closer to her and the people I love.
I believe I’m suitable for this position bcs of my genuine love for children I also believe not crowing up with a mum impacts the way I feel, I know what it feels to be excusted and just not at your best I want to be not only a helping hand but someone you can rely on and someone who isn’t doing it entirely for the financial gain but bcs they genuinely care for your child’s well being. I qualify for this position bcs I have experience in caregiving no matter what age I have taken care of multiple children l, I have german A1 experience and continue to build my German knowledge with help of my best friend, I am caring and a genuine person I am also a ,,home body” so I can do extra hours if needed.
