Hi! My Name is Georgina. I am an unmarried 33 year old last child of 3 siblings from Lagos, Nigeria and I seriously love hanging out with children. They are so full of amazing energy and such a joy to be around. I am passionate about children because you can learn a lot from them, like how to enjoy the simple things in life. I love getting to know them and their individual personalities.
I also enjoy watching children grow and learn, helping them as they grow and face new challenges in school and life in general.  I have a passion for childcare that I cannot ignore.  Kids are simply my favorite to be around never a dull moment.
Over the years, I have helped various families with their little ones some of whom are in the university although not professionally (I did not get paid). Most recently I had the opportunity to assist a family through the good and bad with their 2 little angel boys (2yrs and 5months) I did school drop off and pick up, grocery shopping, play dates, swim lessons, lunch dates, doctor visits and so on.
I chose to become a nanny because I love children. I used to take care of my neighbors children and at some point became the full time career to a young female child who spent so much time with me that she practically moved into my parents home. We now have a lovely friendship as she is now 20yrs old and is in her final year at a university. I've always known that I wanted to have an important job caring for children but I always thought it would end in a classroom as my mother is a veteran English teacher herself.
After working with kids of a wide age range, I’ve honed my organizational skills, mastered basic first aid and CPR and became an expert in cooking/nutrition. I believe I am highly qualified for this role.
I would be pleased to continue using my creativity, patience, communication skills and problem solving to help kids grow especially in a team setting.
I would love to experience the support of a knowledgeable staff and learn new techniques along the way.
I am a creative person who enjoys making crafty items for family and friends. I love listening to music of all different genres, reading fiction books, dancing, and meeting people of all different cultures. I also love watching Anime’s. Learning is a lifelong passion for me enjoying the many different cultures around the world.
