Dear host family,
My name is Elizabeth, i am 25 years old and I come from Kenya.i have over 5 years of experience with children of different ages.i worked as a nanny and also in both kindergarten and daycare for one year. During this time, I care for children between the age of one year and five years old. My daily tasks included feeding, diaper changing, playing and ensured that the kids were always safe, comfortable and happy. As a nanny, I took care of 3 children aged two six and eleven years old. My responsibilities included preparing meals, helping with homework, cleaning the house, doing laundry, organising playtime, helping with their baths and all the necessary housework. I really enjoyed being part of their daily growth. I am currently an au pair in France taking care of an 8 year old girl, and before this, I was an au pair in Netherlands looking after two children, a 3 year old boy and 1½ year old girl. My experience in both the countries have been wonderful. They have helped me grow as a person. Become more independent, and adopt easily to new environment and cultures. My duties as an au pair included taking the kids to and from school, preparing their lunch boxes, helping with homework, assisting with bath time, playing games,feeding, and changing diapers for the younger ones. I also organised indoors and outdoors activities, ensuring that the kids were always active and engaged. Aadditionally, I helped around the housewith house chores such as cleaning, doing laundry, tidying up the kitchen, loading and unloading the dishwasher, keeping the kids rooms, play area and every general place neat and organised. During holidays, I plan my time carefully to make sure the children enjoy their time without spending too much time on screen. I enjoy baking, preparing different meals and creating fun moments with the kids through crafts, singing, dancing, cycling, and doing sport. I believe children learn best when they are having fun and I always combine learning with play. As a person, i am kind, energetic, patient, understanding, loving and adaptable. I get along easily with children and always try handle situations calmly and positive.i love learning about new calture, trying different meals. And exploring new places. In my free time, I enjoy reading cycling, baking, watching movies, and spending time outdoors. I hope to continue my au pair journey and become part of another amazing family.
