Introduction
Hi! I am Mariana and I am searching for a host family for after the summer.
I have always loved working with and caring for children. I am the eldest niece on both sides of the family and have always given special attention to the little ones. When I was twelve I started helping at crèche for children aged 2-4. Since two years ago I am also helping with the younger children aged 0-2. At times I also help my mother with Sunday school for ages 6-8.
I have worked two years in a row at a Christian summer camp for a week (5-8) which was lovely. I have also babysat for some families in the evenings with ages ranging from 2-12. Plenty of experience!
As you may have noticed that most of my experience is connected to the church you will probably not find it surprising that I am a Christian. I am Protestant and would love to find a Christian family, but I would also function very well in a non Christian host family. For my being Protestant, Catholic, etc does not really makes a difference!
I am currently studying in highschool in the Netherlands and will travel to Brazil in the summer vacation. So I can start earliest in the end of august, but I will have a lot of fun stories to tell!
Important:
I have just gotten my first aid diploma from the Red Cross for adults and children, which I can send if you would like to. I am now able to give first aid from sticking on a bandage to reanimation.
I do not yet have my drivers licence and I am not sure whether I will get it in time.
