Warm greetings from Blokzijl – this beautiful Dutch town I’m lucky to call home right now! I’m Winona Joe Gonzaga, though everyone knows me by my nickname, Wina. At 24 years old (with my 25th birthday coming up on July 25, 2026), I’ve traveled all the way from the Philippines to embrace the au pair journey, and I’m so excited at the thought of joining your family next.
Currently, I care for a precious 3-month-old baby – who’s growing so fast, he’ll be turning one on September 2026! My days are filled with the gentle, important tasks that come with nurturing him through this special stage: preparing and giving feedings, changing nappies with care, and assisting mom during bath time to make sure every moment is safe and comforting. When it comes to keeping the home running smoothly, I’m happy to take on light household chores too – sweeping floors, vacuuming as needed, washing dishes, and handling all the loading and unloading of laundry.
By nature, I’m a bubbly yet shy person – warm-hearted and attentive, with quiet moments where I love to observe and appreciate the little things. But what really makes me come alive is adventure: exploring new places, trying new foods, going on walks through nature, or even just having a fun, spontaneous day out together.
As I look ahead to my next placement, I’m hoping to join a family that values connection, kindness, and mutual respect – one where I can not only care for your little ones and help with the home, but also become a true part of your daily life, share stories from my culture, and learn all about yours too.
