Hello Good Day, Future Host Family!

My name is Joshianne Nicole. I’m known to friends and family as Cole. I am 23 years of
age and a third-year student working toward a degree in Medical Laboratory Science to become a
scientist. I am the oldest of four siblings, ages 21, 13, and 7 all living at home with our parents. After my schoolwork is done for the day, I prepare meals and snacks for my younger siblings or help with their
homework or school projects. I make it a point to engage in conversations with my siblings about how
their day at school went because I feel that it is important for their well-being and development.
My hobbies are dancing, reading and watching movies. My siblings and I play board games, volleyball,
badminton, and hide & seek, a great way of spending quality time together.
I strongly believe that my host family will choose me as their au pair because they can depend on me
wholeheartedly. I am dependable, adaptable, and capable of multitasking while working under pressure. I am someone who is passionate and able to determine whether a child is having a rough time or
uncomfortable in certain situations by observing the child’s body language or facial expression. I feel
comfortable and secure around kids children because I spend my time mostly taking care of my siblings. I
am a well-organized, responsible, and decisive person. I would love to help your children with their
homework because I am good in Basic Math, Sciences and English. I have knowledge about CPR
training, can take body vital signs such as blood pressure, oxygen saturation level heart rate utilizing
medical devices.

I am currently an Au Pair here in Netherlands and I am taking care of 2 kids (ages 2 and 3) and a new born. My main tasks are picking up the kids in school, prepare lunch, prepare snacks for the afternoon, play and arrange sets of activity for them, and lastly doing some light household chores.

I will be available in August 2024.

Lastly, I want to be an au pair because I want to explore new places, immerse myself in a new culture, and most importantly meet and live (even short-term) with a wonderful family.
