Dear Host Family,
My name is Precious, and I’m from Namibia. I will be graduating in May, and I’m at a point in my life where I really want to experience something new, grow as a person, and be part of a different environment. Becoming an au pair feels like the right step for me.

I would describe myself as a calm and understanding person who gets along easily with others. I like being helpful and creating a comfortable, positive space around me. During my time working on the national census, I had to interact with many different people, stay patient, and handle responsibility on my own, which helped me grow a lot in confidence and communication.

I have also spent time looking after children here and there, especially my younger brother and my cousins. Through that, I’ve come to realise that I genuinely enjoy being around children — helping them with small things, playing with them, and just being someone they feel comfortable with. It’s something I’ve naturally grown to love.

I understand that welcoming someone into your home is a big decision, and I would treat your space, your children, and your routines with respect and care. I’m also open to learning your way of doing things and fitting into your daily routine. I don’t mind helping out where needed and I’m willing to take guidance so I can support your family properly.
