Hi everyone, my name is Abby. I'm a 26-year-old woman from Windhoek, Namibia and a former expat. I've had a very colourful and sometimes difficult path in life. I've grown up in a family with 4 children in a multi-racial family. My friendly, warm and curious demeanor stems from coming from a family that enjoys laughter and being open to everyone we meet.

Coming from a larger blended family, I'm not new to looking after children and my main focus is children under 5 as I find them to be pretty funny and due to their fresh minds, they love to learn as I do. I've always been the cousin and friend who'll sit with the little ones and play with blocks, cars, and with clay. And with my nurturing trait, I know that I have what it takes to help parents with the day's work by looking after their little one/s. I love to bake and am a very animated bedtime story narrator. Somewhat of a Nanny McPhee, I am dedicated to upholding the parent/s rules with a great balance of healthy fun to ensure your little one/s will be happy with me and you can be assured I will do my best every day.

With COVID and the loss of jobs and opportunities, my life has taken a hard standstill. Even with the world opening up things in my neck of the woods haven't gotten better but they will soon. These past years I have taken a hard look at my life and reconnected with an old dream of mine, to become an Au Pair! The opportunity to witness and experience different parts of the world once again would be a dream come true.
