Hello! I'm Brandon Smith, an 23 years old Cybersecurity Engineering student from a medium-sized city in Mexico! I'm a playful, enthusiastic and compassionate individual eager to practice my English and German, learn about new cultures and embark to new adventures! Furthermore, I'm from a family of six with both a brother and sisters (so I got plenty of experience with siblings haha), I absolutely love playing with both kids and pets!

I absolutely love traveling, I really enjoy meeting new people, discover new cultures, traditions, their language, and also their food! :) I'm a cheerful and goofy person, I'm always hoping to get a laugh and a smile of those around me!

Even though I'm a lighthearted guy, i've learned from my past and I know when change needs to be made, I'm a flexible person and with communication being the key to everything, I'm always open to talk, learn and improve in myself to benefit to everyone around me!

I'm also a half decent cook, but my mom family are superb cooks, so I can bring some delicious family recipes of my local cuisine for you to try if you are into that:)

My personality:

I'm an easygoing, lighthearted (sometimes pretty sentimental) and playful guy! At first, I could be a little shy, but I love talking with people and get to know about them and their opinions and experiences! I absolutely love some new challenges and being outside getting to know new places and people, it's one of my favorite things in my life!

My family:

I have two younger sisters Darlen and Hannia, my older brother Leo and both my awesome parents! We live together on a small city on the north of Mexico called Torreón! We were all born here and even if my city could be a little boring at times, I couldn't be more proud of being from here! I'm extremely close to my family and friends, and I wouldn't change them for anything.

My education:

I used to study an architecture degree at Universidad Iberoamericana, but ultimately decided to pursue my dreams and got into IT and Cybersecurity (My dad it's an IT engineer and my brother it's a Software Developer student, so maybe it was all meant to be all along haha) I'm currently studying multiple extremely flexible courses in Cybersecurity Engineering to achieve my final certifications, I can work in them in my free time at any time of the day, so they won't interfere at all with any of my activities as a AuPair!

What I do in my free time:

- Go for a bicycle or electric scooter ride
- Hangout with my friends/family
- Go out and get to know new places
- Watch movies/series
- Mess around with music production
- Play online games with friends while we talk about our day
- I love to learn about new tech on blogs and YouTube videos
- Study some more for my Cybersecurity certificates!
- Annoy and play with my siblings :b

My language skills:

My native language is Spanish, since I was born and raised in Mexico.
I have an English TOEIC certificate with a score of 980 out of 990 which means International professional proficiency, with my experience as an AuPair I wish to improve on my pronunciation skills!
I just started learning German by myself and I will take a course as soon as possible!

My motivation:

I love working with kids, get to know new people with such different cultures and habits, get to see new and beautiful places and architecture, and of course get to be part of a loving and awesome family from all across the world!

My expectations:

I expect a healthy and respectful environment, I would love to be seen as a friend or family member not much as an employee, I'm a flexible and easygoing individual, so if there's anything that need to change I'm always open to talk!
