Dear Host Family,
My name is Sheldine Evelynda Fanomezantsoa, I am 25 years old and I come from Madagascar, more precisely from a town called Mananara-Avaratra in the northeast of the country. I am very happy to introduce myself to you and share a little bit of my story.
Currently, I live alone in Antananarivo, the capital city of Madagascar, because of my studies. Living independently has helped me become more responsible, organized and confident.
I am currently studying Administration at IMGAM (Institut de Management des Arts et Métiers) University and I am in the first year of a Master’s degree. My studies have helped me develop strong organizational skills, a sense of responsibility and good communication skills. I am particularly interested in management and communication which I believe are essential for my future professional life.
I would like to become an au pair because, for me, it is much more than just traveling abroad. This experience would allow me to improve my English and discover a new culture from the inside. I truly believe that living with a host family is the best way to learn a language and understand a culture deeply. I would also be very happy to share my own culture, traditions and language with you and your children.
I already have experience with children. I completed a three-month internship in a kindergarten called “Le Petit Câlin” in Ambohipo, where I helped take care of young children, played with them and assisted during daily activities. In addition, when I lived with my aunt, I took care of my younger cousin: I helped her with her daily routine, played with her, fed her and helped her with her bath and her homework.
I believe I would be a great au pair for your family because I am responsible, caring, patient and trustworthy. I take my duties seriously and always care about children’s well-being and happiness. I am ready to be involved in your daily family life, follow your rules and support you as best as I can.
