“Dear Host Family,
thank you for taking the time to read my letter.
My name is Myrzaiym, and I am 25 years old. I live in in Bishkek which is a capital city in the north of Kyrgyzstan. Currently I am working as a recruitment manager in a company. I can’t wait to explore more from the world and get an international experience in childcare.
Let me tell you about my childcare knowledge and practice. I came from a big family- two elder sisters, two younger sisters and two younger brothers. I have 4 nephews. Sometimes on the weekends my elder sister can ask me to look after kids, and I do it with a great pleasure. So I have a significant experience on babysitting.
Moreover in 2022 I worked as a nanny for 7 months. I took care of 4 years old sweet boy. His name is Alihan. I was involved in several activities with him such as taking care throughout the day, preparing and feeding food, bathing and dressing, keeping his room in order. Outdoor activities were one of my responsibilities. We spent a lot of time in playground. Almost every day I conducted educational activities and craft works, in order to improve his intellectual development.
Also I taught English for children in a language school for a half year. There were 8 students ages ranged from 7 to 12 years old. It was an incredibly rewarding experience filled with moments of joy, discovery, and growth. I found that children can be different, each student has his own characteristics, his own point of view and behavior. I’ve learned to find an individual approach to each child. I think I’ve managed to establish a supportive and encouraging classroom atmosphere where students felt comfortable taking risks and making mistakes.
I would like to mention about my hobbies and interests. My main hobby is learning foreign languages. In my university years I learned German and in summer 2019 took part in students exchange program in Germany. Apart from that, recently I started learning Spanish and Korean. By understanding different languages and cultures, people can break down barriers, cultivate mutual respect and understanding. I also like reading detective novels, practicing yoga and baking in my free time.
In conclusion I would like to say, I understand that being an au pair is not solely a job but an opportunity to become a cherished member of your family. I am prepared to assist with household tasks, engage in activities with the children, and, most importantly, create a safe and nurturing environment for them.
