Hello, my dear host family!
My name is Madina, I am 20 years old. I live in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. I want to become an Au Pair because I like spending time with children. It is very interesting for me to explain things to them, talk with them, and observe their development. Such experience will help me to become a better expert in understanding the psychology and behavior of children. Since I am interested in the history and people of the USA, I would like to go to this country, to get to know the mentality of the inhabitants and the differences in our cultures. It would be a unique international experience working with children!
I like kids and kids like me. Since childhood, I helped my parents to look after my little sister and helped with her homework. Our family has many relatives; they always come to visit us with their children. I spend an exciting time with the kids; we play board games, make handicrafts, and play with a ball. Every time, we had kids at home, they didn’t want to leave me because they were very excited about spending time with me.
I have 1800 hours of working with children. A year ago I started working as a babysitter for about two months. I took care of two lovely girls; they were 4 and 7 years old. We played with a doll house and Lego blocks, sang songs, I read fairy tales to them, warmed up food, and helped the older girl prepare for elementary school. I took the kids to swimming lessons, and after lunch, we often went for walk.
I have experience working with a special needs child. Last winter, I began to take care of the infant. It was an adorable baby, at that time he was 10 months old. He could not eat, sit, or crawl on his own. My duties included; feeding the baby through a special probe, preparing the mixture, giving him medicines, putting him to bed, changing diapers, and playing with him. Sometimes I had to go with the child and his parents to the hospital and spend the nights there when he was sick. During these 4 months of work, I became very close to this family and the baby. This experience helped me to gain invaluable knowledge and I learned how to live on my own.
I consider myself a well-qualified person with an appropriate personality. I have completed my secondary school education. I also studied for one year of college to the specialty a teacher of English in primary school. A year ago I received a driving license. I can describe myself as a friendly, caring, and responsible person. If there is a pet in your house, it would not be a problem because I like pets and I have a cat. Sometimes I spend time in nature, I like hiking and camping in the mountains. In my free time, I like taking pictures, drawing, and doing yoga.
I can be a great friend and sister to your children. I would love to spend time with your child playing, sculpting, reading, or walking. I like to create 3D pictures, so I can teach your kids how to draw. I would be very glad to get to know you and your hobbies and become a good helper and a friend. I am really into my national nomadic culture. I can enrich your knowledge about unique Kyrgyz traditions, holidays, and national games. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter to the end!
