Hello! Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I hope that by the end of this letter, you'll have a glimpse of who I am beyond my application.

I grew up in a small village in Kenya where life wasn't always easy, but it taught me resilience, gratitude, and the importance of family. Those experiences shaped me into someone who values hard work, kindness, and finding joy in the little things.

I studied Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and have worked as a laboratory technician. Science fascinates me because it helps us understand the world and improve people's lives. One of my biggest dreams is to pursue a master's degree and eventually a PhD, focusing on research that benefits communities in Africa. I believe learning never stops, and I'm always curious about how things work.

Outside the lab, I'm a very different person! I enjoy crocheting, reading, listening to music, and spending time with children. Whether it's helping with homework, playing games, reading bedtime stories, doing crafts, or simply having silly conversations that end in laughter, I genuinely enjoy being around kids. I love watching their confidence grow as they learn something new, and I believe every child deserves patience, encouragement, and lots of smiles.

My Christian faith is an important part of who I am. It reminds me to serve others with love, show compassion, and approach each day with gratitude. These values guide the way I interact with people and care for those around me.

If we become a match, I hope to be more than just an au pair. I'd love to become a trusted big sister to your children and a dependable helping hand for your family. I'm excited about sharing my Kenyan culture with you—perhaps teaching your children a few Swahili words, cooking a traditional meal together, or telling stories about life in Kenya. At the same time, I'm equally excited to learn about your traditions, celebrate your holidays, and become part of your everyday life.

I may not know all your favorite family traditions yet, but I can't wait to discover them. Whether it's baking cookies on a rainy afternoon, cheering at a soccer game, helping with school routines, or having movie nights with popcorn, I look forward to creating happy memories together.
