Hello Future Host Family ??

My name is Lisa, I am from Kenya, and I am very excited about the opportunity to become part of a loving host family as an au pair. I would describe myself as caring, responsible, patient, open-minded, and easy to live with. I truly enjoy being around children and creating a warm, safe, and happy environment for them.

I have childcare experience with children of different ages through family responsibilities, volunteering, and professional community work. I volunteered at Lil Magic Foundation, where I interacted closely with children in educational and supportive activities. I also completed my attachment at AMREF as a Community Health Assistant, where I worked with families and children and learned the importance of patience, empathy, communication, and responsibility. These experiences helped me become more mature, attentive, and confident in caring for others.

I enjoy spending time with children through creative and fun activities such as storytelling, reading, drawing, outdoor walks, games, helping with homework, singing, and simple learning activities. I believe children grow best in an environment where they feel loved, listened to, encouraged, and understood.

As a person, I am calm, respectful, organized, adaptable, and family-oriented. I can help with light household tasks connected to the children, keeping spaces tidy, preparing simple meals, and supporting daily routines. I also value honesty, communication, and teamwork within the home because I believe the best au pair relationships are built on trust and mutual respect.

One of the reasons I want to become an au pair is because I genuinely love cultural exchange. I would love to learn about your culture, traditions, language, and lifestyle while also sharing mine with your family. I am excited about becoming not just a helper, but someone who becomes a positive and supportive part of your family’s daily life.

In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, cooking, exploring new places, watching movies, spending time outdoors, learning new things, and connecting with people from different cultures. I am also very excited to grow personally, improve my language skills, and create meaningful memories during my au pair journey.

If I became part of your family, I would do my best to bring kindness, positivity, reliability, and care into your home every day. I understand how important it is for parents to trust the person caring for their children, and I would never take that responsibility lightly.
