My name is Samuel Karunda a 24 year old energetic and vibrant young man, born on 17th October 1998.I am the first born in a family of three boys and a diploma holder in Building and Civil Engineering and I have worked with the Kenya National Highways and the Naivasha Municipal Board as a student intern parents' names are Peter Karunda and Susan Wanjiru Karuku, who brought me up to a law abiding citizen from the christian values that they instilled in me when I was still young,during primary school I was a junior teacher in science and thats where I gained interest and discovered that I can look after other young kids since I was teaching the lower classes, this improved my social skills which made it easy for me to connect with both the young and old kids. At home I would look after my young siblings and also my young cousins this made me to be a responsible teenager since after taking care of the yonger kids I would engage myself in doing house chores and activities like: reading story books for the young kids, helping out in their homework and also playing football. My hobbies are: taking nature walks, Playing football, riding bicycles and doing physical exercises. Since the age of 12 I have been a sunday school teacher and this has given me a good experience in taking care of the young ones since it has helped me to understand how i can relate with young kids and nuture them into being responsible citizens in the society. I would like to inform my dear host family that Kenya is my country of origin and Swahili is my native language and I am a fluent English speaker since I have been learning english throughout as it is incoporated in our education system.
