My name is Mercy and I'm 20 years old from Nairobi, Kenya. I come from a family of 4 children. I have two brothers and a twin sister. I am fluent in English, which can facilitate effective communication and cultural exchange. Currently I'm learning German A1 at an institute here. I have both parents around too. I am a hardworking, honest, outgoing, respectful, loving and caring, generous, kind hearted girl. I am writing to express my genuine interest in becoming an au pair within your family.

I am drawn to the role of an au pair because of my innate passion for caring for others, especially children. Growing up in a close knit community in Kenya, I have had ample opportunities to engage with children of various ages, and these experiences have fostered in me a deep sense of responsibility and empathy.
I believe your family should host me because of my dedication, adaptability, and cultural openness. Having grown up in Kenya, I bring a unique perspective and cultural richness that I am eager to share with your family.
Additionally, I have hands-on experience caring for children, including spending time with children, assisting with homework, organizing activities, and ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Moreover, I am first aid trained, which further underscores my commitment to ensuring the safety of the children under my care.

During my free time I normally cook for my family, read novels, listen to music, go out for walks, help in the house at home, help my mom clean and do the dishes, I go for swimming, I play with my aunt's daughter, go shopping and go for drives around my neighborhood and explore my city.
