I am the first of four siblings with the lastborn being 10 years old.
I started babysitting when I was about 13 and realized not only how much I enjoyed being around kids, but how easily and naturally I connected with them. I understand them, and even more than that, I value and respect them. Despite the fact that they're not mine. Because I know they are someone's child, they are someone's whole world, and it's such an honor to be a small part of their lives, even for a brief period of time.
