DEAR FUTURE HOST FAMILY.

My name is Augustine. I am a 24 years old and I live in Nairobi Kenya, a beautiful country in Africa.
I am an open-minded, hard-working, easy-going, dedicated, trustworthy, helpful, patient, and responsible person. I am emotionally investested in the health, safety, and happiness of the ones under my care and the families are even more important to me.

I come from a large family, being one of 10 grand children, with an elder sibling. My mother is one of 5 and my family all live within a 7 mile radius of each other. My family run a family business and as a result we see each other a lot! I am part of a very close knit family, and as a result my close inner circle of friend is also often viewed as ‘family’. I cherish and value my friendships; choosing to surround myself with loyal and fun people.

I recently graduated from Catholic University of Eastern Africa, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. I love traveling, learning new languages and different cultures, meeting new people, and definitely making memories. My very calm, collected, patient, and quick learning always comes in handy when dealing with challenging situations.

I would describe my strength as an Aupair as the ability to bond really well with people, children and also blending in very easily with the family and as a result being able to be their mentor in different aspects of life and also be like their big brother or a friend, also the ability to learn from my mistakes. On the other hand, I would describe my weakness as an Aupair is that I have a hard time letting go of something or someone because I get too attached to families and hence becomes emotionally hard to detach from them.

I am searching for a host family, that would be happy to have me as part of the family, be kind, welcoming and who are willing to learn new culture and language. I am looking for a long time stay with my host family, for one 1year or more depending on the connection formed with the family.
