Dear Host Family,
My name is Trizzah, 27 years old Kenyan, I am fully vaccinated against Covid. I am interested in becoming an au pair. My reason for wanting to au pair is because I have an extensive background in childcare. I would love to get more experience with children since I enjoy being around kids and blend with a new family. I love and adore children and this is a perfect opportunity to get more time with them. I have an extensive background in childcare, I have experience taking care of small kids to 15 years old. I am comfortable in changing diapers, giving a bath and putting the baby to sleep. I love to be active and I am an early riser!
I would describe myself as a caring, empathetic, patient and eager-to-learn individual. I admire meeting new people and families and am curious to learn from others. I am an enthusiastic and adventurous person, outspoken, caring, affectionate, happy, calm, honest, patient, creative, organized, kind, loyal and considerate person who greatly appreciates the warmth and smile of people around me.
I like to ride bikes, work out, do outdoor activities, cook, I enjoy playing with kids and exploring the world around me.
I come from a typical African family i.e big family. We are 8 members and very loyal to each other, I have a strong relationship with my parents and 5 siblings. I’ve always been family oriented. My sister has 2 kids, ages 2 and 5, I have 2 nephews 8 and 12 years old and a niece who is just 10. I love to baby sit them from time to time.
I also have a very close group of friends, we’ve been friends since we were kids. I spend a lot of time with family and friends when I’m not working!
I graduated with a diploma of Applied Statistics and I have recently completed my Bachelor of Economics and Statistics expected to graduate in December 2021 and First Aid certification.
In between working, my free time typically consists of visiting with family and socializing with friends. I enjoy swimming, riding bikes, working out and doing outdoor activities. As I live close to the mountains and hills, I really enjoy going on hikes. Additionally, I like going outdoors for walks, adventures, etc
I have a lot of experience with kids, my experience with kids is through babysitting: my sisters, 2 kids, my nephews and my nieces. I have beautiful memories with them. I love spending time with them because I learn a lot of things from them that no adult would teach me!
My first language is English, and I have a basic understanding of French and Germany from being taught in school. Would love to pick up new language skills!
I would like to work as an au pair because I love to travel and am interested in learning new cultures and languages, as well as being with kids! Having the opportunity to be an au pair abroad is a dream come true, I really wish to be a part of you and I cannot wait to hear from you.
