Introduction
My name is Millicent, but my friends and family call me Millie. I am a 28 years old girl and I live in Nairobi City which is the capital city of Kenya, a beautiful country in Africa. I am a born again Christian and I love God am an open-minded, hard-working, easy-going, dedicated, accountable, transparent, trustworthy, helpful, patient, and responsible person. I love taking care of kids and their upbringing because i know if a child is taught the ways of Lord at the tender ages they will surely never depart from these ways, i care about their health, safety, and happiness are the most important to me. I come from a large family of four sibling. My mother is a business woman and my father is a farmer. I am part of a very close family, and as a result my close inner circle of friend is also often viewed as ‘family’. I cherish and value my friendships; choosing to surround myself with loyal and fun people. I recently graduated from Kiriri Women University of Science and Technology, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. I love traveling, learning new languages and different cultures, meeting new people, and definitely making memories. My very calm, collected, patient, and quick learning always comes in handy when dealing with challenging situations. I would describe my strength as an Aupair as the ability to bond really well with kids and also blending in very easily and as a result being able to be their mentor in different aspects of life and also be like their big sister, also the ability to learn from my mistakes. On the other hand, I would describe my weakness as an Aupair is that I have a hard time letting go of something or someone because I get too attached to children especially and hence becomes emotionally hard to detach from them I am searching for a host family, that would be happy to have me as part of the family, be kind, welcoming and who are willing to learn new culture and language. I am looking for a long time stay with my host family, for one 1year or more depending on the connection formed with the family. I really am looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Regards, Millicent
