Thank you for taking a moment to read my introduction. I’m so excited about the chance to become your Au Pair and to be part of a wonderful family where I can help care for your children, learn about your culture, and share mine too.
I come from Kenya and I’m the third born in a family of six children. Growing up in a big family has taught me a lot about patience, teamwork, and responsibility. I’ve helped care for my three younger siblings and also for my two nieces, which gave me plenty of hands-on experience with children of different ages. From helping with homework and preparing meals to organizing fun activities and bedtime routines, I’ve learned how to make kids feel loved, supported, and safe.
My background in the hospitality industry has helped me build great communication and organization skills. I’m friendly, respectful, and reliable — qualities that make it easy for me to adapt to new environments and connect with families and children alike.
I truly enjoy spending time with kids — whether we’re doing crafts, reading stories, playing outside, or learning something new together. I believe every child deserves care, attention, and encouragement to explore their interests and express themselves freely.
I’m also happy to help with light household duties such as laundry, tidying up, or preparing simple meals. I understand how important it is to keep things running smoothly, and I’m always ready to lend a helping hand wherever I’m needed.
In my free time, I enjoy cooking, discovering new places, listening to music, and spending time outdoors. I love learning about different cultures and trying out new experiences — which is one of the main reasons I want to become an Au Pair.
For me, being an Au Pair is more than just helping with childcare; it’s about becoming part of a family, building trust, and creating beautiful memories together. I’m excited about the opportunity to support your family, share my culture, and grow personally through this amazing experience.
