Greetings! My name is Stacy, a 23-year-old Kenyan currently residing in Kenya. I am in my third year pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Institution Management at a Kenyan university. I am writing to express my genuine passion for childcare and my eagerness to become an Au Pair in your family.
Growing up as the second-born in a family of five siblings, I have always found joy in taking care of my younger siblings whenever our parents were away. This experience has not only shaped my nurturing instincts but also instilled in me a deep sense of responsibility and care for children.
In addition to caring for my siblings, I have actively engaged with and looked after the children in my neighborhood. Furthermore, I have assisted my university friends with childcare responsibilities, ensuring a nurturing environment for their babies while attending lectures during my free time.
What makes me particularly adept for this role is my experience in caring for children with disabilities and special needs. Having had a brother with a disability, I understand the importance of creating an inclusive and loving environment for all children. I am committed to making every child feel valued, loved, and incorporated into daily life.
My childcare skills include assisting with school work, engaging in play, feeding, grooming, and providing tutoring support at home. I believe in creating a cheerful atmosphere for children to easily bond and develop positive relationships. Additionally, I am enthusiastic about contributing to household chores, particularly in the kitchen, as I have a passion for cooking and enjoy experimenting with new cuisines.
