Dear Host Family
I'm a fun loving young woman from Kenya who likes to try new things, especially food, travel to new places and meet new people. I'm in the Tourism and Hospitality industry and when I'm not hiking or taking long walks I like to cook and try out new recipes. Sometimes after a long day,I like to occupy my time by watching a good movie or reading a good book which is always a bad idea because I will probably not put it done until I'm done reading it or my eyes betray me and shut down.
I love children.I have been taking care of children for a really long time and o far I have worked with five families as a live in nanny all with children ranging from 0-16,some with pets and some with single parents. I have tutoring experience from my work as a primary school teacher where I taught English, mathematics and science. I'm available to teach English and Swahili to both adults and children.
As a former member of St. John Ambulance and I am trained and certified to give first aid to children and infants. I can help around the house by cooking, cleaning and with anything else that needs to be done.
Being an au pair for me is a chance to not only to travel outside my country but to experience a new culture, try something new,and learn a new language which is important in my line of work. I would love the chance to positively help your family even if it's with the small things like school pick ups and drop offs.
