Dear Host Family,
Hello, my name is Irene Stephanie , and I would love to become an Au Pair and take on the
responsibilities of caring for your children.
First, I would like to tell you a bit about myself and who I am personally.
I am 22 years old and I live in Kiambu Kenya. I have spent my whole life here and I am very close with
my family. My mum, Grace, works as at a hardware store in kiambu and my dad, Johna, is a truck
driver. I have 3 younger brothers,samuel{20},blessing {9},Caleb{6} And my little sister Angel{5} . We love to spend time together and
I often take care of them while both of my parents are at work.
I graduated from high school in 2021 and I am currently working as a shop assistant but also as a
babysitter. I have gained my childcare experience mainly through babysitting, but I also completed
an internship at a local daycare. I love looking after children as you can learn so much from them.
Twice a week I look after a 2-year-old girl and an 8 year old boy. I get them ready in the morning,
take the boy to school and spend the day with the girl. We always have the best time together!
I would describe myself as a responsible and mature person. I like to plan things ahead and be
prepared for any occasion. I am not scared of new challenges and I don’t give up easily.
One of my biggest passions is reading books and gaining more knowledge as well.
I also play violin and horse riding .
When I have the time, I like to do some sightseeing with my friends. We often just drive to some
places we have not been before and explore it. I think this
would be the best opportunity to travel and to gain a new family on the other side of the world.
