Dear future host family , my name is Lucy Wambui , 22yrsold and I come from Kenya .I come from a family of 6 , 2 parents and 4 children . Peter[Dad] works as a mechanic and farmer while Jane[Mum] works as a kindergarten teacher . I have 3 siblings older than me , hence , am the lastborn . Rahab[oldest of us all] works in Delmonte , has 2 boys [Trevor and Travis], John[second born] is a university student , Annet[third born] is a stay at home mum and has 2 daughters [Alexa and Gianna] .I the last born am passionate about animals and the environment . I take a diploma in Tour Guiding and Administration.

My experience with children started when my nieces and nephews were born . I helped my sisters with babysitting from when they were newborns . I babysit then till date whenever am needed to . Whenever they are not with us I take care of my cousin and neighbor's kids when they need help . This experience has helped me be able to handle them even in difficult situations . Honestly speaking they can be stubborn sometimes but with patience and understanding it gets better.

During my stay as an au pair I not only want to learn a new language , improve on my German , meet new people , have a family away from home but also am hoping to impact the children in a positive way and be a blessing to the family . I would describe myself as a loving , caring , honest , trustworthy, kind , patient , creative and a pro-active person . I hope to learn a lot from you as well.
