I have experience caring for children from 10 months old up to teenagers. I am currently working as a live-in nanny and housekeeper for a wonderful foreign family in Kenya, where I handle both childcare and household duties as part of my daily routine. The family I work for is fully supportive of my goal to grow my childcare experience abroad and encourages me as I continue building my skills.
My daily routine with the children includes waking them up, preparing breakfast, and getting them ready for school. I also prepare their lunchboxes and ensure everything is well organized for their day. I assist with bathing, supervise playtime, and help with homework, including art and craft activities. I mainly care for the two younger daughters aged 6 and 10. The eldest child is 17 years old and is currently studying abroad. I also run small English tutoring sessions with the younger children, as the parents prefer additional support alongside their school learning. I enjoy helping them learn through conversations, storytelling, and simple educational activities. We also read stories, do puzzles, play creative games, and sometimes engage in drawing and crafting.
On weekends, I usually have my days off, but sometimes the family prefers I spend time with them during outings. I really appreciate being included in these moments, as it makes me feel like part of the home. We often go to the park, watch movies, and on special occasions we go on trips such as safaris, including Maasai Mara.
Alongside childcare, I am responsible for full household duties, including laundry for the entire family, ironing, general cleaning, and keeping the home organized. I also assist with grocery shopping when needed and running errands for the family.
I am open to living with a family that has pets, as I love animals and feel very comfortable around them.

HOBBIES AND INTERESTS:
My hobbies are mostly simple and active. I enjoy riding my bike and going for nature walks, especially during sunsets. I also like singing and karting, which I find fun. In my free time, I enjoy arts and crafts, playing puzzles, and writing in my journal. I also enjoy baking and trying new recipes whenever I get the chance.

One of my main interests is learning about different cultures.Over the years,I have worked with families from various backgrounds and collected recipe notes from them.Recently, I created a personal recipe book from the Iraqi family I currently work for.I really enjoy trying new foods,learning how different families cook and experiencing the beauty of other cultures in everyday life.
I aim to be someone who is reliable, thoughtful,and easy to be around.
