Dear Host Family,
My name is Gauhar, and I am a 20-year-old girl from Kazakhstan. I’be been working as an au pair in the Netherlands until June 1, and I am excited to apply to be your next au pair in your country since August 2023.
I have always been passionate about working with children, and I have gained a lot of experience as a tutor and babysitter. In my previous au pair position, I was responsible for caring for two children aged 9 and 7, helping them learn Russian, baking together, having fun outdoor activities such as visiting museums and parks, and always introducing to some new activities, such as playing chess or knitting. I also have experience in organizing play dates and accompanying children to extracurricular activities.
Prior to this, I provided babysitting services during the summer of 2021, caring for a 4-year-old girl named Ayana. In this role, I was responsible for her daily needs, such as dressing and preparing light meals, and we enjoyed a variety of activities such as painting, playing games, and visiting the playground.
My experience with children began when I used to take care of my younger sister, and I found that I enjoyed the experience immensely. This led me to explore other opportunities as a caregiver and babysitter, and I have found it to be a very rewarding experience.
As an au pair, I am looking for a new cultural experience, and I am eager to immerse myself in the American way of life. I am fluent in English and Russian, so I am confident in my ability to communicate with your family and the children.
I am eager to continue working with children and to provide a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for them. I am also committed to following the rules and routines of your family and to maintaining open and clear communication with you.
I am a responsible and reliable person who is always punctual and respectful. I understand the importance of maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, exploring new museums, going out to nature, and learning about different cultures. I am a non-smoker and have a clean criminal record, and I am happy to help with light housework and meal preparation.
