My name is Lauren. I am a native of Miami Beach, Florida, U.S.A. I am an experienced Teacher of English as a Foreign Language. I recently returned to the U.S. from Japan where I enjoyed teaching English for many years. In Japan, I had the pleasure of teaching English to children (ages 1-12), teenagers, special needs students, and adults of various levels and abilities. I specialize in teaching phonics, phonetics, accent reduction, and the fine points of English grammar.
I enjoy traveling, going to the beach, going to tennis tournaments, learning foreign languages, spending time with children and helping them learn, and making friends from all over the world. I have visited the Bahamas, Canada, and countries in Europe, South America, Asia, and the Middle East.
I possess an international driver's license, and driver's licenses from Florida and Japan. By the way, I am a vegetarian, but I eat fish and seafood (except octopus :)
