Hello, folks! :)

In this late-night moment I thought it was finally time to write down my goal-related thoughts that have been tumbling around in my mind for weeks now.

I will start by saying that my name is Nancy (well, actually this is my sobriquet since ever because my real one is Annunziata - which is anyway the longer form of it);

I'm a 30-year-old girl [my birthday is in May ;)] from Italy and I live now in the beautiful city of Catania (Sicily) where I was born as well (I lived in different places in Europe as well);

I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters (no... this is not a typing error haha);

I have got a Diploma in Language Studies after attending a linguistic lyceum in my city.


To add more things, some of my favourite hobbies are:

-learning new languages (I have the intention to start learning Portuguese, as a self-taught for now),
-reading,
-training,
-going out and exploring,
-watching movies,
-cooking,
-eating ( ! :D),
-listening to music,
-cycling (so so much!),
-playing badminton,
-solving puzzles, sudokus and so on!


Additionally, I feel like saying I’m not so good at expressing my innermost thoughts as accurately as I want to and, as a person who hardly opens up, I might seem a puzzled human but I didn’t want my thoughts to go unsaid and to miss this opportunity.

I distinguish myself by having an insatiable curiosity about travelling, exploring new places and discovering new realities.
Just the conceptual idea of cultural diversity and folklore-related things keeps the sound of my internal hopes alive! :)

Referring to this, I have such fond memories of how I felt in the past (fortunately lately as well) while visiting new cities and how mainly I truly love the idea of getting lost in them forever.

As aware as I am to be fortunate to have a good life in terms of health, I know that the thrill of my life is having a siesta right now ahah!

I would like to achieve anything I put my mind to, for this reason I thought that the Au Pair World could be a good fit for me: a great kickoff in order to visit also heavenly places strewn across the globe like Portugal, Spain and Norway! :)

I like taking care of children and I truly think that one person gains crucial life lessons when having the opportunity to have a direct contact with them.
My experiences with children lie in the fact that I have spent a lot of time with them since I have a lot of cousins (they are German so I have the habit to confronting myself and approach people having cultural realities different than mine)!

P.S. I have got a driving licence but I don't want to have the responsibility to drive.

So, after showing off this megalomaniacal oration, I finally can say that I'm hoping you'll be able to visualize this message of mine; trustful that this won't be a soliloquy.

As a result, I'm well aware that this might seem a one-of-a-kind Au Pair World message but, as a fancy person, my style can only be this one ahah!

Patience permitting, you have read through all this (sorry for being so long-winded, and maybe twisty), so the ultimate conclusion whereby you might be agog about is that I would appreciate to be trusted by people who believe me when I say that this could end up being a memorable experience for all of us! :D
