Dear Host Family! Thank you for your time to read my letter. My name is Siria, I'm 21 years old and I live in Italy,a Comeana,a small town near Florence.
My native language is Italian but I speak also english and french. I studied german at school and I would like to improve it!
I'm a sunny and sweet person and I can solve any kind of situation thanks my calm and patient personality. I may seem shy at first but I am very friendly. I am a bit impulsive and very emotional, I am also very stubborn and if I want to get a result I do my best to succeed.
I decided to become an aupair because it is something I have always heard about and that has always fascinated me. I think this experience combines some of my passions, including wanting to know a new culture,travelling and children. I have tons of ideas on how to keep them entertained and I can't wait! I think children are wonderful and I would love to take care of them so I can get to know them and become part of their magical world; often they see things in another perspective and they are so funny.
The most important person for me is my brother, with him I have a fantastic relationship despite there are 4 years of difference and I think that if I could I would take him in my suitcase hahahha. Together we share many passions and he will be the person I will miss the most. Another thing I am very attached to is music and volleyball, music because it is the best way I can make my emotions understood and volleyball because it is my favorite sport, I would never tire of playing it.
During the summer I babysat children of different nationalities and of different ages to parents who rented the house to my mom when they asked me.
This year I am babysitting a very sweet and smiling 5 year old girl. I accompany her every day to kindergarten before going to school and then I take her back and stay with her until her mother comes back from work.
I hope to find a family who makes me feel welcome, who likes to laugh and have fun, and with whom I can do many activities. Also, I want to be an au pair in a place where I have always dreamed of living to discover its culture thanks to the help of the family!
