Dear Hostfamily,
my name is Sonia, I’m from Italy and I'm 26 years old.

I live in a little village in the south of Italy, which is about 1h from Bari. My village is very quiet, but I also like living in the city.

At home we are 3: my mum, who’s an EMT; me and my sister, who is 6 years younger than me. We also have three cats, Noah, Bijoux and Joey.

When I was younger my mum always wanted me to do some sports, so I started dancing. I did it for a few years a
and started doing it at a professional level. I had to stop because of a knee problem.
I did also swim for a few years, because I used to be really scared of water, now i'm comfortable in it.
I’m not the best, but I can play soccer too. I grew up with a lot of boys in my neighbourhood, I used to play soccer with them when they needed a player.

As regards other passions, I love cooking. I prefer to cook cakes, muffins, biscuits or sweets in general, but I think I’m quite good in savoury too. During the weekends I always help my grandma preparing lunch for everybody with homemade pasta and other typical plates.

I’m quite organized and I like to create new routine every month.

I eat more or less everything, but I’m not a big fan of fish.

At High School I studied human science, mainly pedagogy and psychology, so I'm really into the world of education of kids and I also studied of theory about it.
I have a degree in Philosophy and I'm currently taking a master degree in Philosophical sciences.
I have experience as a babysitter, i love children.
I'm currently an aupair here in Paris with an amazing and lovely family with 3 little kids. Being an aupair really changed me, it makes me realise that I'm really great at interacting with children. It's really more than a job to me, I've become quickly part of the family and I love them.
