Dear Host Family,

My name is Armada Telaumbanua, and I come from Medan, North Sumatra, Indonesia. I am 24 years old and hold a Bachelor's degree in Indonesian Language and Literature.

For several years, I have been interested in education, languages, and working with people. As a tutor, I have guided learners of various age groups, ranging from elementary school children to teenagers and adults. Through these experiences, I have learned to be patient, understand different learning needs, and support individuals on their unique learning journeys.

I especially enjoy working with children. I love spending time with them, playing games, telling stories, and helping them learn. Children inspire me with their honesty, creativity, and curiosity. It makes me happy to support their growth and help them discover new things.

As a male au pair, I am aware that many families initially think of female au pairs. Nevertheless, I firmly believe that responsibility, patience, and empathy are the qualities that matter most in childcare. Through my experience as a tutor, I have learned how to understand children's needs, motivate them, and provide them with a sense of safety and trust.

An au pair year is a special opportunity for me to experience German culture, improve my German language skills, and become part of a host family. At the same time, I would be delighted to share my Indonesian culture with you and contribute positively to your family life.
