My name is Ulfah Annisa, I am 24 years old and I come from Indonesia. I would describe myself as a caring, responsible, and open-minded person who loves children and enjoys learning about new cultures.
I have been surrounded by children since I was young. Growing up in a big family, I started helping to care for my nieces, nephews, and younger cousins when I was about 14 years old. My house is also located near a kindergarten, so I often interact with children in my neighborhood. Through these experiences, I have learned patience, creativity, and responsibility in looking after kids from babies to school-aged children.
I am very interested in becoming an Au Pair because I see it as a great opportunity to combine two things I love: taking care of children and experiencing cultural exchange. I want to improve my English (currently A2) and also learn the local language of the country I live in. I believe living with a host family is the best way to grow, learn, and understand another culture while also sharing my own traditions and values from Indonesia.
Besides childcare, I have many hobbies and interests that I would love to share with your family. I enjoy cooking (especially Indonesian dishes but I am eager to learn your recipes too), writing stories and novels, reading, and listening to music. I also love sports such as jogging, badminton, and volleyball, which help me stay active and energetic. I am tidy, non-smoker, pet-friendly, and always try to maintain a positive and cheerful attitude.
As your Au Pair, I would be happy to support you with childcare, help with light household tasks, and bring joy and creativity into your children’s daily routines. I would love to be like a big sister to your kids—someone they can play with, learn from, and feel safe around.
